Young researchers are PhD students or post-doctorate scientists, supported by a scholarship or holding a fixed-term position, under the age of 32 as of June 3, 2025.
Subject to the availability of funds, a 50% reimbursement of the registration fee will be provided for young researchers, with priority given to those from developing countries.

1 - In the Footsteps of Napoleon – Walking Tour Portoferraio
The tour includes a visit to the Renaissance city, formerly known as Cosmopoli and now Portoferraio. A GT coach transfer will take guests from the hotel to the historic center, followed by a guided walking tour inside the fortified town. The itinerary includes a visit to Napoleon’s former residence, “Palazzina dei Mulini” (admission ticket included). Duration: approx. 3.5 hours. Included in the registration fee for participants. Price for companions € 35,00
2 - Western Coast Classic Tour
This tour begins with a coach departure and an English-speaking guide. The first stop is in Marciana Marina, with a village visit and a brief tasting of local wines. The tour then continues along the western coast with photo stops along the scenic route. A stop in Marina di Campo follows, with free time before returning to the hotel. Duration: approx. 3.5 hours. Included in the registration fee for participants. Price for companions € 30,00
3 - Eastern coast Scenic Tour
Departing by coach with an English-speaking guide, the tour heads to Marina di Campo, known for its fine sandy beach. After a stop and free time, the tour continues along the panoramic road toward Lacona and Porto Azzurro, a picturesque seaside town famous for mineral craftsmanship. The tour includes a village visit and a mineral collection exhibition. Return to the hotel at the end. Duration: approx. 3.5 hours. Included in the registration fee for participants. Price for companions € 30,00
