Risk Declaration
The participant acknowledges being fully aware that the stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) activity involves inherent risks, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, waves, currents, and other natural factors that may compromise safety. The participant agrees to engage in the activity, fully assuming responsibility for the associated risks.
Physical and Mental Conditions
The participant declares to be in good physical and mental health, sufficient to safely participate in the activity, and commits to promptly informing the organizer of any health issues that may affect their participation.
Obligation to Follow Instructions
The participant agrees to always wear a life jacket and safety leash and to strictly follow all instructions provided by the organizer before and during the event. The participant acknowledges that failure to comply with instructions releases the organizer from any liability.
Safety Guidelines
The participant agrees to adhere to the safety guidelines set by the organizer, including but not limited to regulations regarding weather conditions and navigation in the event area. The participant accepts that the organizer may suspend or modify the activity in case of adverse weather conditions or other circumstances that may jeopardize safety.
Exclusion of Liability
The participant agrees to hold harmless and indemnify STEFANO BORZACCHIELLO, the event organizer, from any liability, claims, disputes, or requests for compensation or damages, whether made directly or indirectly, including by third parties, for events that may occur during the activity, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the organizer.
Third-Party Damages
The participant assumes full responsibility for any damages caused to third parties during the event, agreeing to compensate for any harm resulting from reckless or negligent behavior.
Use and Care of Equipment
The participant agrees to use the provided equipment (SUP, paddle, life jacket) with care and respect, assuming responsibility for any damage or loss. In the event of loss or damage to the equipment, the participant agrees to compensate the organizer as follows:
- Loss or breakage of the paddle: 40 euros
- Breakage of the fin: 20 euros
- Damage to the SUP: compensation to be assessed based on the damage caused.
The amount of compensation may be subject to revision based on the value of the equipment at the time of the event.

Authorization for use of photos and videos
Additionally, under Article 10 of the Civil Code, Articles 96 and 97 of Law No. 633/1941 on copyright, and Articles 13 and 23 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 on personal data protection, the participant authorizes the creation, use, reproduction, and publication of photos and videos taken during the event by any technical means. The material will be freely distributed and made available to all participants digitally at the end of the event.
The use of images and videos is free of charge and considered to be done fairly and correctly. Photographs and videos may be used worldwide and in all contexts (exhibitions, competitions, projections, internet, advertising, publishing, printing). However, the participant prohibits their use in cases that would harm their honor, reputation, and dignity under Article 97 of Law No. 633/41 and Article 10 of the Civil Code.
The original images (digital files and/or film negatives) are considered the photographer's property under Article 98 of Law No. 633/41 and according to the Supreme Court ruling No. 4094 of 28/06/1980.
THIS RELEASE FORM HAS UNLIMITED VALIDITY and is drafted and signed in full, confirming that the participant has read and understood its content.
Privacy Notice
The personal data of the person photographed or the owner of the photographed property, in compliance with Legislative Decree 196 of June 30, 2003, will be processed solely for the fulfillment of the contract; the photographer is the data controller to whom the photographed person or property owner can make any request concerning their data.
